The happy couple

One day I got an email from a very sweet mama. She explained that her daughter was having a courthouse wedding and wanted the moment to be captured and wondered if I was available. I knew bride and her son as I take taken easter photos the previous year and was happy to accept to job. The day of the wedding was a happy one, the sun was shining and everyone was all smiles. I arrived early to examine the lighting and areas to take photographs, and as I waited I peered at the lovely marble in the building. Im a sucker for marble and old buildings :) I met the couple and as we waited for the witness to arrive and the judge to be ready I quickly grabbed my camera, threw on my 35mm lens and took shots of their little kiddo. He looked so cute in his white button up and red bowtie, and man did he love the camera. He was quite the crack-up and kept coming up to me and wanting me to take his photo and oh how he would smile at me! During the ceremony, which was short and very sweet, the couple smiled nervously and happily. Afterwards I captured some great moments and although the couple wasn't sure about photos or how to pose, I coaxed them and they let me take the reins and get some great sweet shots of the two of them. Later we got some family shots as well. I love weddings, any and all, and if I could do weddings every weekend I would! Thank you guys again for letting me be a part of your day, its one that I will always have memories of.
